I like everything on the menu. The pasta is amazing. The selection of wines is decent! Try the Pizza with San Danielle ham. Delicious!
Found Osteria Laguna because it was across the street from the Westin Grand Central where we were staying, and my daughter and I were too exhausted after a day of shopping/walking around NYC to seek out a specific restaurant on yelp. We sat down for a late lunch and the food and ambience were wonderful. She had the osso bucco and I had gnocchi, bother were delicious. Definitely recommend.
I always come here when I'm staying at Westin Grand Central or Times Square. Bread service is included and I ask for garlic and the always accommodate with a smile. For food, I've had carpaccio, pizza and branzino, all good, but IMHO, if there's one thing you have to order, it's the lasagna. It's a spinach Pasta and meat sauce is perfect to cheese ratio. I've ordered the last 5 trips. I might have it again for lunch tomorrow. I might get again for lunch tomorrow, it's that good.
We had the best server here. The best that we encountered during our 7 day vacation here in NYC. Regretfully did not get his name but he called our table " San Fran " as we gulped down our delicious food and mineral water . Just a nice feel and ambiance and good food here !!!
Soup was amazing! Very good and interesting taste and super healthy! Bread basket came very fresh! Service friendly and polite! Ambience is on point. Will stop by again for dinner this time ;)
It's a great casual Italian restaurant just a block away from the Grand Central. Not a high end nor gorgeous place but we could really enjoy the atmosphere. Wait staffs were good as well. Menu I felt somehow limited and not flexible but can find what we wanted in reasonable prices.
Another Holiday dinner with friends. Osteria has become our "go to" location in NYC. Close to Grand Central Terminal (which some of us use to get here). Well stocked bar (this requires no explanation). Excellent service and good food seals the deal. This time I had the seafood risotto. Flavorful, well prepared and generously portioned. Dessert was good too - but I didn't take a photo in time. A very enjoyable evening. We'll definitely be back.
